Pros

Great company Good benefits great training

Cons

If they make staffing changes they will find reasons to let people go that are not the real reason that they are letting someone go. They will find quality in work Or other reasons and I don’t believe this is ethical watch your back if they all of a sudden start auditing your files for little insignificant reasons things they have never done or don’t donto other team members that may be looking for a reason to let you go so they look god for unemployment insurance

Pros

Life balance, no demand to work extra hours

Cons

Trust of you as a professional doesn't exist, upper management bully individuals to get work done. Any effort to collaborate is based on the individuals preference. Just because you are not from around Stevens Point doesn't mean you shouldn't fit in or be included.

Pros

Great coworkers and 401K match

Cons

Management micromanages to the point adjuster were unable to get their daily work completed. You would think management is there to be positive and help their employees succeed, over the last few years they seemed to spend their days reviewing files, emails and messages for any actions that the employee could be written up and possibly terminated. There is a constant letting go of tenured experienced employees in lieu of replacements with no experience and a lower salary, this put a strain on all the employees by increased workloads. Management is a good ole boy network that if you do not fit their mold good luck! You'll feel the heat.

I’m sorry to hear about your frustrations while working at Sentry. We strongly value professional development, and expect our managers to act as guides and leaders—not micromanagers—to help their associates be successful. Please know we’re continually working to improve. Most recently, we sent an associate feedback survey where all associates had an opportunity to evaluate their manager, department, and Sentry as a whole. We’ll use feedback to create actionable goals toward improvement. Thank you for sharing your review with us. Michele Dufresne – Chief Claims Officer
