Pros

Great benefits for Health and 401K and depending on your department there are some great managers. Work/Life balance is good for the most part, the company is trying to be more flexible so time will only tell.

Cons

Very conservative take on working and pays executives quick a bit more than the rest of the company. Usually only around a 3% raise for employees which in todays market is not that great.

Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. It’s great to hear you’re happy with your benefits and work/life balance—those things are very important to us and we know they’re important to associates, too. We also aim to offer competitive salaries. Our pay grades are based on multiple market research surveys—both location- and industry-specific. Annual raises are based on many factors, including personal performance, company performance, and market research, so the amount can vary from year to year. If you have any questions about your compensation or our pay structure as a whole, please reach out to your manager. Thanks again for sharing a review. Todd Schroeder – Chief Financial Officer and President of Life & Annuities

Work/life balance and excellent benefits are very important to us, so I’m pleased to hear you’re happy about those things. In regards to remote work, while we’re very proud of how well all associates have handled remote work during the pandemic, we value face-to-face collaboration and don’t intend to stay fully remote. However, we don’t want to completely abandon the flexibility of remote work, which is why we’re adopting a hybrid model when we return to the office. If you have any questions or concerns about this transition, or any other feedback, please reach out to your manager. I appreciate your feedback. Javier Sotelo – Senior Director of Talent

Pros

Able to work remotely from home. Very fast paced so you'll never be bored or looking for something to do, which makes the time fly by so fast. The pay was good, pretty good. Management will really try to help you out and provide you with the tools and/or training to get up to speed. 401K employer match up to 10%, I believe, when I left the company. Your investments really takes off.

Cons

Working from home can be a considered a con if you aren't organized or manage your time well. You can quickly fall behind with your assigned claims. The medical benefits package was on the costly side. The workload was heavy and it really took a lot to meet the company standards for claims handling.

I’m glad to hear you enjoyed the work and the benefits. We recently asked for associate feedback about our benefits package. We’re currently evaluating what we offer, so I appreciate your additional feedback. Additionally, we recognize claims workloads can vary greatly, especially as we’ve continue to navigate volatile claim volumes due to the changing COVID-19 landscape. We’re constantly monitoring staffing levels and adjusting accordingly. We’re actively recruiting additional claim representatives to keep our workloads manageable. Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. Michele Dufresne – Chief Claims Officer
