      Pros

      One thing I'll say first and you'll see this as a common thread amongst reviews (even the bad ones) is the PEOPLE. I have worked with a lot of very smart, very driven folks since I started here and have learned so much. Shift has a collaborative culture and it works because of all the great talent. I think it used to be a bit "top heavy" here but some of that has been working itself out lately. They're really good about honoring unlimited PTO and try to keep the hours burnout low, which is one thing I was concerned about joining a boutique consulting firm. The last thing I'll say is they value personal growth. They'll help pay for certs and a good chunk of managers will encourage blocking off calendar time for learning, studying for exams, webinars, educational content, etc.

      Cons

      There was a merger a while back and because of that, a major cultural shift. I came in during some of the pain of transitioning but I do believe they're trying to make changes for the better and introduce process and consistency where there used to be chaos. Even though future trajectory looks positive, recent layoffs and lack of bonus is hard to ignore. We'll see if things truly turn around in 2023 and beyond

      Fast Paced, Good Growth

      - Good growth opportunities - Good space to be in: companies will always need marketing - Enterprise Clients - CEO is focused on constantly improving for employees

      Cons

      - Consulting Industry. Clients are demanding - Smaller company, can be a pro or con depending on who you are - Some turnover with the recent mergers
