      Pros

      - Everyone really has your back and believes in you - they hire the very best - Really smart people with insight into cutting-edge challenges - customer data stitching, omni-channel orchestration, AI in marketing, etc. - Flat organization - you can talk to the CEO and other execs any time you want - Interesting work - mix of strategy & process consulting, technology implementation, and marketing agency work - Flexible work policies - easy to flex work around family and other responsibilities; I work a ~40-hour week while doing management / strategy consulting work - Company direction - we really provide compelling partnership to top-tier clients with cutting-edge thinking and implementation on data fluidity, customer engagement, and sales & marketing execution

      Cons

      - As with all consultancies, work ebbs and flows; if several projects have deadlines at the same time, it can get stressful. That being said, I have always found other Shifters to lean in to help!

      Pros

      The people on my direct team were great. The majority of my coworkers were very kind, helpful and intelligent.

      Cons

      This company started off as a great place to work, but the executives and new CEO have destroyed it. Just take a look at how the Glassdoor ratings have steeply and rapidly declined. All the good employees are bailing as quickly as possible. Clients are leaving as well. The new CEO is so nepotistic that it became a running joke among employees at the company. She hired her friends from a previous workplace, so any valid criticisms or concerns never broke their inner circle. The way they treat their employees is disgusting. The salaries here are below market value, especially on the Canadian side. Bonuses were touted as a major perk of the salary to offset this but in December 2022 the bonus (which was a significant amount of money for people, especially during the holidays) was revoked at the last minute with barely an apology. It was seriously sickening. The work life balance is not good, and the culture is not supportive. Shift Paradigm is going down and I would stay far, far away from that sinking ship.

      It is never fun to hear someone did not have a positive experience working for SP, but we very much appreciate your time and will reflect on your feedback. We are open to change and are certainly willing to learn where perhaps we could have approached things differently. We have had some tough times in the past few months as all companies have, but we are confident about our direction and the opportunities ahead. We wish you success in whatever is next for you in your career.
