Pros

Remote work and a paycheck

Cons

The company has no interest in employee well-being or satisfaction, they're just hoping to stick around long enough to get bought (which would be a miracle). The expectation is that you will work above and beyond the scope of your role without additional compensation or benefits, and often you will be set up to fail in these situations. The company itself isn't even sure of who they are or what they're selling and has gone through several recent rebrands in an attempt to further define this but it's only gotten more vague over time.

Sinking ship

Pros

Remote worker phone reimbursement, wellness stipend.

Cons

No bonuses, raises, and constant scrutiny of hours and billable targets. Layoffs every few months. No accountability from exec leadership. If you’re higher level and try to speak up and speak for your team, you will be targeted and discriminated against.

Too many Layoffs

Pros

- Many different types of clients so you get a lot of exposure to a lot of different kind of work.

Cons

- Very Unstable - Layoffs are happening after every 3-4 months ever since we got a new CEO. It was not like that in 2020 and 2021. - Despite layoffs they are still hiring which is quite confusing. - Canceling bonuses and promotions as well which is very disappointing. - Completely remote and no all company wide conferences anymore. They don't care about their employees and there is a lack of communication between people as most people have not even seen each other. - More people are trying to leave the company, therefore there is a lack of trust within the company and even outside.

Thank you for your feedback, we appreciate your time and candor. We are working on many of the issues you raised because we care about our employees and the culture surrounding them. Layoffs are not an activity that we ever want to do, but sometimes they are necessary due to the business conditions that affect the company. We do our best to give a transition package to each employee that helps them start their job search quickly. For current employees, we have programs to increase communication for Leadership and Employees of all levels. As you may know, we have bi-weekly All Hands calls, Ask Me Anything with the CEO sessions, and coffee chats. We encourage employees to reach out to others they do not know and meet on video or where they can in person. These are all to get people communicating and are working to build a camaraderie that is a pinnacle of our culture. We encourage you to speak with HR or another leadership team member if you have additional ideas for what we can do. We will have an In-Person conference when we can, our CEO has committed to this, but it may be sometime next year. Hang on; we will get there.
