- Shipt is intensely political, there are some business and people decisions solely made to please other stakeholders in a different office - The dual office culture promotes a deeply ingrained tribalism that is competitive and toxic. People constantly talk about the other offices as being terrible - Leadership is not as transparent as they used to be and can at times be incredibly passive and sometimes passive aggressive. Even the nicest are sharks - This company has no product vision

Very little management oversight which leaves many self motivated employees doing their colleagues work with little to no repercussions. Fueled by sexism & nepotism. Extremely cliquey for a business. While you are encouraged to contribute, your ideas will most likely be overlooked unless you are within a certain crowd. Promotions are rarely merit based. Don't assume that how any other employee is treated will set precedent for how you will be treated. If you speak out about any of the unfairness you will likely be fired spontaneously with no regard to your work quality. There is an overarching lack of professionalism. Women- highly recommend you do not accept a position, men- proceed with caution.
