      There are no pros to working for this corporate monster.

      Cons

      The demands of this company on its employees is ludicrous and reminiscent of slave labor. Store managers are pushed to their limits with NO help from upper management. No pay increases regardless of how hard you work. My health has improved 10 fold since leaving this company. It’s insane the expectations of this company coming from corporate lacky’s that have zero clue what’s going on in the real world. The jewelers, for the most part, are awful and couldn’t care less about the work they do. Many unhappy customers that take it out on the employees. It’s just ridiculous and too much to even try to explain. If you value your life, health, family, friends and personal time, DO NOT work for this sadistic company.

      Signet claims to be people first but they are the exact opposite. All you will be is a number here, upper management will pile more and more work on you and you will become burned out. The morale in the office is at an all time low, there have several layoffs that have led to extremely high turn over rates which is disruptive to business. This company doesn’t care about employees work life balance. Late nights and early mornings are to be expected . Work deadlines are very unrealistic and unattainable which is very discouraging. Projects are often assigned at the middle to end of day with an immediate deadline. Overall the company is very disorganized and scrambling to do whatever they can to make sales.

      The team in Akron is very difficult to work with. They feel that the team in Irving is inferior to them and will not consider new ideas (or old ones for that matter) or suggestions from Texas They claim to be a people company, but consistently prove they have no regard to their employees.
