Pros

Your coworkers will be the best part of the job but that’s all

Cons

Management is very micromanagey. They preach unlimited PTO but you get scolded for taking more than 4 weeks. The customers are difficult and rude. The pay is very very very low compared to the amount of work we have to do. Everyone on the CS team is overworked, stressed and strained. There’s no room for growth and very little support so burn out is real.

Thank you for providing feedback. We are happy to hear you enjoy your teammates so much. However, we are sorry to hear you feel micromanaged. One of our values is "We Are Built On Trust." A big part of that is trusting each team member's expertise in their role. Since you are a current team member, we encourage you to have a conversation with your manager about this. If you don't feel empowered to do that, please connect with your HR Business Partner and they will be happy to support you.

Pros

The core values of the company that they preach are really wonderful and great. The goal of the company to help people to help people their practices is the reason why I stayed as long as I did. You can also work from home which is nice.

Cons

They don't pay top of market like they suggest. They also say that they appreciate radical candor but really they don't. management wants you to be able to take radical candor, which ends up just being feedback that's given harshly. but anytime somebody questions the company and their values it's ignored. You won't move up in the company unless you are completely emotionless and if you are a white male. The pay ranges are wild for the same role. If you are applying for this job I would suggest upping your range when they ask for it.

Pros

Passionate and intelligent colleagues, exciting business possibilities, and a meaningful mission make SimplePractice a great place to work.

Cons

As the company has grown, business interests (new customer acquisition, increasing revenue) seem to more frequently stand in opposition to customer interests (affordable pricing, valuable features).
