Pros

Great health benefits, opportunities for growth, many perks as an employee, summer barbecues, quarterly bonuses, annual raises, and they pay well for the Utah County area.

Cons

For a small company they have too many politics

Pros

There is no lack of opportunities to build amazing things at this company. The greatest thing about working here is that there's really nothing stopping you, even as a new employee from taking part in those opportunities. The culture and relatively flat management style make make it a great place to work as a software developer if you are a self-motivator. The company is positioned in a really good spot right now in terms of market strategy and potential. I think the company does a great job at recognizing talent. The company also does a great job at motivating developers to be active in the industry through compensating employees to go to conferences, encouraging things like book clubs (where groups get together during lunch to read/discuss the latest tech books), and showing interest in trying out new technologies and solutions.

Cons

There are some growing pains currently. You can tell that the company is actively trying to figure out how to deal with some of those growing pains, and so far has very done well at managing growth while protecting culture. In some ways I am really glad that they are taking a conservative approach to responding to growing pains, however in other ways I think that the velocity of the company is being stifled by hesitation to make a decision. The software development team could really use some more diversity. I in no way think that Simplifile is consciously doing anything to keep the development team from being more diverse, but I would love to see a more active effort to seek out developers from outside Utah valley. Simply stated: We need more women on our dev team, and more devs from a school other than BYU. Easier said than done I suppose.
