There are some growing pains currently. You can tell that the company is actively trying to figure out how to deal with some of those growing pains, and so far has very done well at managing growth while protecting culture. In some ways I am really glad that they are taking a conservative approach to responding to growing pains, however in other ways I think that the velocity of the company is being stifled by hesitation to make a decision.
The software development team could really use some more diversity. I in no way think that Simplifile is consciously doing anything to keep the development team from being more diverse, but I would love to see a more active effort to seek out developers from outside Utah valley. Simply stated: We need more women on our dev team, and more devs from a school other than BYU. Easier said than done I suppose.
