Pros

The residents are like family. I spend a lot of my time working here because it is so rewarding to see the residents smile and having a great management team to support us as employees to feel appreciated and valued. I can say this is my favorite job so far.

Cons

The only con is when a resident starts declining, it is very hard because we do establish such a great relationship with them.

There isn't a lot of pressure to get things completed quickly... most 'assignments' are 'get them in when you can' which makes some people want to get them completed more quickly so there isn't something hanging over their head.

Cons

A little disorganized in terms of who does what.

Excellent health benefits, interact with fun seniors, meet intellectual Indians. Everyone is always on board with new staff and "haze" them by providing them flowers and other treats.

Cons

Lunch breaks are sometimes interrupted to take care of at-need seniors. Not a big worry.Everyone is always on board with new staff and "haze" them by providing them flowers and other treats.
