Great people, fun product, embraceable brand.

Pros

Great people. Good SF commute. Customers love the product. Product is fun to develop. HP loves the "new kid on the block"

Cons

Development platform makes innovation difficult. New leadership has not yet earned respect and trust of employees. Relationship within HP is sometimes a positive, and sometimes a negative. Strategy often unclear and under-resourced.

Pros

The best reasons to work for Snapfish are that the products are fun and creative. There are some really smart and nice people working as individual contributors.

Cons

The big downside is the terrible senior management. We have a terrible rulers (not leaders) who love power, love having final approval, changes policy to comply with any given circumstance. It's a real mess. The direction feels schizophrenic, draconian and unreasonable at times.

No direction right now - marketing is rearing it's ugly head Need a new Head of Product to give us more clear direction for User Experience Too many good people left - not enough resources to help with work Too many expectations with little direction and no help Politics are crazy - too many cooks in the fire No raises for almost 3 yrs - compensation needs to change if you want folks to stay Innovation is wanted but too hard to get things done with current infrastructure
