      Worst anxiety of my life

      Pros

      can be lucrative if you are a favorite or lucky

      Cons

      -management is a disaster. first off, if you are not a favorite, forget it. -live on slack, but it is inundated with white noise which is wildly distracting, and time and time again I have missed important information because of all the random shout outs -quotas are astronomically high, and the breakdown of accounts and territories is so randomized that some people are just destined for failure -forecast calls are dehumanizing and feel like an intense interrogation -the separation of inbound/outbound/expansion makes no sense -you are either on the leaderboard or live every day in fear that you are going to be fired -people will steal your accounts so always sleep with one eye open

      Product Had/Has Potential, Leadership is a Mess

      The product can work well, assuming the customer has the correct tech stack.

      Cons

      Snyk has gone through three layoffs in the past calendar year, even with additional funding coming through. Each time, the CEO mentions we have runway, but then fires 10% of the workforce. The post sales motion of Snyk is drowning due to continuous restructuring and leadership placing people in roles they don't have the skillset for. As another reviewer stated, it's clear this leadership team has never lead a successful Customer Success Group and customers are feeling it. Significantly smaller competitors have quickly caught up to Snyk's capabilities and Snyk is no longer the clear marketplace winner. The confidence in Snyk is no longer there as it was when I started a few years back. This is a tough place to work and I don't trust there won't be another round of layoffs.
