Thank you for taking the time to leave a review, and we appreciate your feedback! I agree wholeheartedly with the observation about your coworkers. When we ask for feedback from staff and clients, they both rate “the people” as what they love most about SofterWare! As for your other comment, while we work hard to develop a product that is easy to use, we do find that clients who take training during their onboarding enjoy greater success. Our account team strongly encourages it, but it's at the client’s discretion to sign up. We also offer lots of free training, including articles, videos, webinars, in-product tips and more. All that said, clients love our support team, and sometimes they prefer speaking to someone when needed the best. This is why we provide a host of support and training options based on their preferences. Thanks for the feedback to review the training process and materials - this will get passed along to everyone involved in SofterWare University, our training program for new hires. If you have specific suggestions and haven’t already shared them, I'd encourage you to send them to Kelly, our training team manager (she loves feedback and new ideas!) or provide them in the New Hire Journal that we ask each new staff member to complete during their first few weeks here. Thanks! Sincerely, Lauren Sheehan, President

Thank you for the 5 star review! We couldn’t agree more with all the pros you listed out; we work with an amazing group of professionals who help nonprofits make the world a better place! We appreciate your note that we have great benefits, but that you think our health insurance options could be better. Given how much health insurance issues (cost, coverage, etc.) are outside our control, we strive to provide a competitive package. For example, we offer a high deductible plan, a co-insurance plan, and a traditional plan to match all the various needs our staff has (e.g. young and single, growing families, need more coverage due to health issues, etc.). We also offer vision and dental insurance. We’re proud that we’re able to pay the large majority of the premiums for our staff. Further, we provide free long term disability insurance, as well as access to multiple prescription coverage programs, a virtual care platform, an employee assistance program (EAP) designed to assist you with personal issues, and patient advocacy and nurse navigation services designed to help you and your family get the best medical care and wellness coverage. All that said, we’re constantly striving to improve our benefits, so please reach out to our human resources department with what you feel we could do better, or do so anonymously in our next employee survey. Thank you! Sincerely, Lauren Sheehan, President

Thank you so much for your 5 star review! We couldn’t agree more about SofterWare being great, and it's all because of the “amazing people” as you noted. They care about each other and our amazing nonprofit clients who are making the world a better place. So glad you appreciate the benefits package too, which we constantly review based on feedback from our staff, as well as the competitive environment, to ensure it exceeds expectations. We’re also proud of the flexibility you noted. In fact, we were named the best work-life balance for our category in the Top Philly workplaces this year. This ties in with your comment about us now being fully remote, something that happened during COVID. Our staff found that they are just as productive at home as they were in the office, plus they no longer have to deal with traffic, and have more time to be with their family and have time to enjoy other parts of their life. To address the daily interactions that used to happen in the office, we gather the whole company together in-person twice a year for bonding and shared communications, plus there are leadership and department in-person meetings happening all of the time. We also have company wide virtual meetings to share what we’re doing, training, or just for fun. Plus, we have a robust Slack channel for work and non-work related communications (e.g. the pet channel, trivia, parents, etc). Since being fully remote is relatively new for us, we recognize there is more to do to create those connections between people, departments and the company, so stay tuned as our leadership team devotes more time to address this important topic. Sincerely, Lauren Sheehan, President
