Pros

Great, unappreciated co-workers! Great benefits. Decent salary.

Cons

Awful, management doesn't begin to cover it! Racist, prejudiced, and petty! Worst management of any company I have ever worked for! They pick their favorites and that is that - if you aren't one of the few chosen ones, you are screwed. HR backs up management, which is a crime!

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We are sorry that you felt it was not a supportive work environment for you. We are committed to providing a workplace where every associate feels valued, respected, and free to bring their whole self to work. Our Code of Conduct and Respectful Workplace Policies explicitly prohibit discrimination based on race, national origin, gender identity or expression, and other classes protected by law, and we take any indication of this kind of behavior seriously. We strongly encourage anyone in the company who feels they have seen or experienced discrimination to inform their HR team or use our anonymous whistleblowing platform. To strengthen a culture of inclusion and belonging at Sonepar, all managers complete training on unconscious bias and inclusion. Our Inclusion, Diversity, Equality and Action (IDEA) Council of senior leaders and eight grassroots-led employee resource groups work every day to promote a respectful and supportive work environment. It’s also important to us to equip managers with the training they need to foster a workplace where everyone can be successful. All new managers are required to complete the Sonepar iManage Program, and this year Sonepar is rolling out a new required training for managers called Managing Emotional Health and Employee Wellbeing, as well as Manager Development Guides that cover topics such as business & financial acumen, cultural awareness, diversity & inclusion, and emotional intelligence. Your feedback is valued and has been shared with the leadership team. We will continue to evaluate ways to ensure a positive experience for all our associates.
