Pros
The company is made up of some really great people. Sonepar does a great job of hiring talented people who work extremely hard while still managing to have some fun. The company has achieved steady growth for many years and seems to be positioned for continued success. Leadership seems to adapt to market conditions as well as customer needs quickly. People seem to genuinely like working for Sonepar. Management can be demanding but for those who take on challenges and have a whatever it takes attitude are typically rewarded for their efforts.
Cons
The company tends to be a little behind the times. The technology, or lack thereof, tends to make things arduous. Reporting tends to be a very manual process and the information tends to be often times inaccurate or spread across multiple systems that do not interact together. Also, some management seems to be a little behind the times when it comes to adjusting to the needs of the modern workforce. Every company has its challenges and Sonepar USA certainly has its share. However, overall it has been a truly great place to work for the several years I've been a part of the organization.
