Pros

At first, it’s a nice place to work at... co-workers is great!

Cons

Very stressful, managements aren't helpful at all. Always barking at us all the times. Wage is so not worth it, you would make more money working at a grocery store or McDonald’s flipping burgers in the long run. Pay raise yearly is approximately 10 cents.

Pros

The camaraderie of other interpreters was wonderful. The technology was pretty good. The perks were nice, even though they weren't monetary.

Cons

Management was poor. Trying to get in touch with internal tech support on the weekend was difficult. Need to focus more on the community they serve; not Deaf centric.

Pros

Great experience working with excel Grows your leadership/ organization skills

Cons

This job can really have you spinning your wheels. Ongoing behavioral, performance and attendance issues are tolerated here that would not be tolerated elsewhere. Ops have to document and research all issues for interpreters to maybe get a soft talking to. Issues resume shortly thereafter with most. Upper management wants Ops to use creative ways to get interpreters to do their jobs and follow the rules- banners, games, coupons, dollar store prizes- all of which have minimal effect on adults. Yet management is very quick to correct and criticize Ops, no creative tactics needed.
