-Tuition assistance -At least it's not a stressful job.

Cons

-Wage is low, and raises are almost unheard of. -"Commission" pay applies to limited items, mostly in wine and liquor departments; beer, deli, supplies, and tobacco associates are lucky to get an extra $10 a week, and management gets a cut of all commissions earned anyway. -Discount is laughable -Insurance is pathetic -Nepotism! Nepotism everywhere!

A lot of fun, a lot of good employees. Hours are great. Stress free most if the time. Just have the drinks customers want available to them and its pretty easy

Cons

Pays low, don't give out many raises, don't reward hard work. A lot of drama in the workplace.

Spec's is in a growth mode and have acquired multiple locations throughout the state of Texas. The ownership and executive management group prides itself on being accessible to all levels of the team. The growth potential is outstanding if you are willing to do the work. Everyone gets their hands dirty at this job and that is what makes it great!

If you require a detailed and structured environment, you might struggle in this environment.
