Pros

Spreetail is an electrifying place to work. When I leave for the day, I am thrilled to come back the next day and tackle new challenges and new opportunities. It's a place that I wouldn't necessarily call work since it doesn't feel like you are going to work at all, but a place where you go every day and do what ignites your bones within your team and outside of your team. The people are incredible. Every day, I am surrounded by the most intelligent, hard-working, passionate, and genuine people. People full of grit and drive, and people who never settle for our current systems, strategies, and way of doing things. Everyone constantly pushes to improve, hold each other accountable, and provide open and honest feedback along the way. The people at Spreetail don't wait around for things to happen, we move quickly and we are curious individuals who take the initiative and bring big ideas to life. There is an infectious spirit that makes you want to work harder than the day before and a relentless drive to innovate, do hard things on your own and together, and have fun doing it. We all understand that no one's job is the hardest, and no matter which department you are in, we all pursue aggressive goals and objectives that make measurable impacts for the company. At Spreetail, we also understand the "why" behind our roles and why we do what we do every day, which makes the big wins feel good and makes you realize how significant your work is that you are doing every day. There is a heap of opportunities for growth and development. There isn't a day that goes by where I don't learn something new. Whether it be learning opportunities from mistakes or learning something new about yourself, the business, leadership, or life, constant growth and development are happening here every day. Our community impact is one of the biggest reasons I love being a part of the Spreetail team. It warms my heart to be a part of a company that loves and gives. We are here to do big things in each one of our Spreetail communities and do big things that have a lasting impact. We aren't just here to delight the lives of our customers and employees, but to better the lives of people within our community. I also love how we work hard first and play hard later. We have happy hours, family events, company trips, and outings that allow us to celebrate our hard work and perseverance. These events allow our team to also cultivate relationships with people you don't see on a daily basis and create long-lasting friendships with those you work with. All in all, I couldn't ask for a more positive, influential, and mission-driven place to be a part of that has made me a better human and professional.

Cons

At Spreetail, the job is never done. You will find yourself coming in early and staying until the sun goes down. This isn't a bad thing though, it just means we are passionate about what we do and have a workload that is full of challenges that make our company better and makes ourselves better humans. It means that Spreetail isn't for the faint of heart. You are going to do hard work and do big things with not many hands on deck. It's a fast-paced environment, there's always more to achieve, and no one is going to hold your hand. If you aren't a fan of working hard, learning new things, stepping outside of your comfort zone, taking on work that scares you, and figuring things out on your own, Spreetail may not be for you. You are in charge of your own success and success rewards perseverance.

Pros

The energy here is contagious. The work is challenging, but this is a company on a mission, and they want great people on their team who believe in that mission and want to play a real role in accomplishing it. That’s what makes all the hard work worth it - you’re surrounded by people you truly enjoy and you’re all working together towards that common goal. My team is extremely close-knit, and we not only push and support each other to accomplish our goals, we never let a day go by without laughing and having fun. You get out what you put in, and Spreetail is the perfect place for motivated, driven people to learn, develop, and grow when they push themselves and the company forward. This is the kind of place where you can leave the office at the end of a long day and still feel rewarded knowing you made a real impact. I know it sounds cliché, but I truly enjoy getting up and coming to work every day because with the challenges come rewards that go way beyond dollars and cents.

Cons

You will often find yourself working long hours, which for some can lead to some work/life balance stress. At the end of the day, most people manage pretty well, you just need to stay focused and manage your time well. My manager is very flexible and recognizes that we have lives and priorities outside of work.

Pros

To break it out into general pros: culture, team composition, employee-centric focus, and management/executive team expertise. After 3 months within the company, it is definitely like nothing I have experience in my career thus far, and I absolutely love it. Spreetail has done a fantastic job building a culture that focuses on the value of their employees, hard work, opportunity, and the communities we live in. It is a very collaborative environment in which all departments and individuals are working together on a wide variety of projects/challenges week in and week out. Very exciting and fast paced as far as the company and role go, making everyday interesting and different!

Cons

I have no cons thus far. If you hate long hours, and taking on challenges outside of your comfort zone, it may not be the right fit.
