Pros

Good benefits, including some unique ones like fertility + gym membership Very high pay bands Lots of career opportunities to grow if you are ruthless and thrive in these type of environments

Cons

You will work for every dollar of the pay you’re given here, plus more. This is a sales company masquerading as a tech company. The culture is extremely fast paced at the risk of not actually building any solid foundations anywhere or critically thinking about what we’re building. Leadership is a mess and absolutely ruthless. There is minimal empathy internally, and it’s so glaring that they preach workplace mental health externally but follow NONE of that. People are frequently burnt out, frustrated, emotional, working 50-60 hour weeks. Expectations are high with minimal to no praise. Turnover is ramped (understandably).

Pros

Spring Health is a fast-growing, semi mission-driven company that sometimes encourages ownership over your work. If you are self-directed and process-oriented, you can make meaningful impact within the right department.

Cons

Because it’s a startup environment, priorities shift often and processes are still evolving. That can create stress, especially in compliance-focused roles where accuracy matters. Direct supervisors often do not know what is going on and cannot speak to updates. Career pathing and promotion criteria feels unclear. Efforts to clarify have not landed with employees. Rapidly increasing demands as the company prioritizes profit over quality. High performance alone doesn’t always translate into predictable advancement, and more transparency around growth expectations would improve morale and retention. Benefits change often and not in favor of the hourly employee. Overall experience has significantly declined
