Great company for trade sales pros

Pros

For anyone working in sales in the interiors industry, Stark is a great place to build a career. The initial interview process was simple and the transparency around expectations, salary, and support was so refreshing. Stark really laid out a training program that made me feel like it would keep me engaged and allow me get some hands on experience really quickly. The Stark values are central to daily activities and honestly for anyone in sales they are refreshing and inspiring rather than just jargon. I'm relatively new to custom rugs and all of the options Stark offers but was able to really grasp the differences quickly through the training process. Also I have been here a short time but have already had access to the CEO on multiple occasions, both in person and through Town Hall video calls where essentially he addresses any questions concerning the company. They take employee feedback very seriously and will often revisit any issue that comes up until progress is made. CEO Chad Stark is really passionate about the brand he heads and it seems like managers in all departments really want to see you succeed. Training staff In New York the staff is large but you really have access to operations and design assistance at all times. Other sales staff often acts as mentors and some of them have been here for more than 30 years! The also have business managers to help you build loyalty with your designer clientele and have opted for a trade-preferred business approach which enables you to meet a neighborhood client that is possibly just looking for a new rug and doesn't have/need a designer. If you are savvy at CRM clientele building Stark has a good, active system in place and supports usage through some great training. Business is good and the manager I report to knows how to keep me motivated to seek new accounts and get my estimates built up. If you take pride in your work and really love helping clients find the right solution, Stark is a great option as they really can achieve almost any look or feel for rugs and carpet. Stark is a class act and hoping to settle in here for a while.

Cons

I am new but can't think of any cons so far. I feel like I got what I expected and hope to stay here for a while and build some loyalty with trade clients.
