Pros

Coworkers are great in data science

Cons

- Management doesn't have a clue - There is no overarching strategy - They lie about compensation, and retaliate against people who speak up - Stock has dropped about 50% over the last year, and almost 97% from its short squeeze in 2022 - Lack of responsibility -- keep blaming Apple privacy regulations or overall market for company performance, despite SFIX losses consistently being worse than the S&P 500 - CEO is keeping seat warm until the next person takes up the challenge

Toxic Positivity at it's finest

Pros

*Lead was amazing *good clothing discount *work from home (although the actual flexibility has changed negatively over the years) *decent part time pay (as a side gig)

Cons

*The constant changes to the technology led this company from a truly personalized and great place to work; to a mindless rat race *Truly awful inventory season after season *Toxic positivity and gaslighting from most "uppers" in the company...there is a reason so many upper management from the pre-Lizzy days have left *Unrealistic KPI expectations with constantly moving goal posts...even if you are fabulous at styling across all kpi/metrics...you will inevitably "fail" due to how the system is set up for stylists. *stylists are treated as disposable by company *unethical marketing tactics...ie: they show items we don't even carry and mis-represent our *actual* product (which is cheap and years old...just get's cycled to customers over and over again)

Pros

There are no pros about working here.

Cons

CEO is so committed to making their Freestyle platform work that she’s blind to obvious holes in the business plan. Stylists are so jaded and unhappy by lack of company consideration that they they make the client experience miserable. There is zero concern for employee morale and they offered the same excuses for lack of inventory the entire time I worked there. Stylists don’t have the inventory they need period. There are weeks at a time where stylists don’t have pants or appropriate tops to send. I spent three months with a single pant or denim option to send to our men’s clients. Stylists are told to take the blame if the algorithm upsets the customer. Stylist tasks are timed minute by minute so you have to take your laptop with you to even use the restroom. Everyone is micromanaged with no consideration to reality. For instance, a stylist will be forced to send something a client has avoided because there isn’t sufficient inventory to meet their preferences for five people. We were told for months that our jobs were safe and then abruptly laid off.
