Pros

Hours, benefits, and off weekends

Cons

Company is failing. Favortism is very apparent. Warehouses closing and hours being cut. If you like to work hard while getting watched and reprimanded by supervisors while others play on their phone or smoke marijuana in the parking lot then maybe the job to consider. Also won’t let you go home if someone else’s blood gets on you, instead they will threaten you with occurrences resulting in firing while talking about everyone poorly.

Pros

Pay is above the industry average, unlimited vacation, $500 work-from-home equipment stipend.

Cons

Stitch Fix's planning process is bizarre and overcomplicated. They don't forecast sales or inventory properly and spend too much time on small details that don't make an impact. The systems and reports we have to work with are riddled with errors and none of the information matches from one system to the next. Upper management pumped too much money into Freestyle and didn't correct fast enough when sales didn't meet expectations, leading to layoffs. Morale and job security is at an all time low. Company stock (RSUs) are included in their compensation packages but share prices have plummeted. The company needs to go back to basics and focus on what it originally did well.

Pros

They pay above minimum age and you're able to work remotely.

Cons

Far too many to name. They severely limited stylists schedule flexibility (which was something I was intentionally seeking when hired). The technology we use to style is ALWAYS breaking and we are expected to keep working through a broken app which tanks our metrics. Speaking of metrics, they are incredibly unreliable and often incorrect causing us to have to work HARDER just to stay afloat. Oh, and this company won't fire you (because then they'd have to pay you unemployment). Instead, they will make your life miserable until you want to quit. Stitch Fix is an awful company to work for, please try being a stylist somewhere else; you will be abused here.
