      Thank you for your note. We put a lot of time and effort into our marketing materials that can be used by our sales force during the sales cycle. As our customers’ needs have changed, we’ve developed new products and have added new territories with vertical market-specific sales reps.       Technical Sales Manager

      Pros

      The work is challenging, and gets you outside often. A lot of travel, mostly local, but you get to see many people in all walks of the industry.

      Cons

      For my division, only one installer, and he is set up for commercial only. Possible collusion, limited resources, management makes promises that are not remotely followed through on.

      supervisors lack iniative to resolve internal problems

      Flexible with personal time, lots of holiday and vacation time, pension

      Cons

      Management will try to stop you from advancing to another dept if you work as a sales admin, lack of ability to resolve employee issues, low rate of pay for an extremely stressful job.
