Pros
Straight North is a great company for driven, self-starters, who are excited to learn new skills.
One of the biggest perks is the ability to work from home, currently full time. This is a plus, that I personally, feel you cannot put a price on; It saves so much time and unnecessary stress in the day without a commute.
One of my favorite things about SN is that everyone here is extremely talented with immense expertise in their field. And, with that, everyone is willing to share knowledge. This has allowed me to absorb insights and knowledge in fields outside of my own over the years that allows me to feel better informed in my own role, and in general, feel more well rounded.
On a slightly related note, Straight North really provides and fosters an environment to explore and grow your career. Leadership both looks for and encourages opportunities to change job roles and departments to expand your career and expertise. In short, if you're intellectually curious and wanting to grow – this is the place to do so!
Cons
I'm not sure this is completely a con, but there is a very large workload that could be a bit overwhelming to some people. If you're well organized and thrive in a busy environment, you'll definitely flourish with the opportunities available here.
