Pros

Your work is done remotely.

Cons

If you value your sanity and have a great work ethic, do not work here. If you are a strong team leader with a voice, do not work here. Strive does not want that. They want yes people who will stay quiet and never question their everchanging goal line. And even if you do meet productivity, that will not matter, they will still find ways to diminish your work. And if you speak up, they will just spin it back in you, and call you aggressive, and a bully. And when you reach to HR they will agree with them. And then you'll get written up so you shut your mouth and tow the line.

The interview process was one of the highlights of Strive Health.

Cons

- Lack of Autonomy - Micro-management - Excessive Meetings - Knowledge Inertia with tenured staff - Poor implementation caused by fundamental gaps in domain experience.

Mostly great folks. Poor leaders on top

Pros

Awesome mission. Folks are really working hard to transform kidney care. Many Strivers are kidney patients themselves or have/had family with kidney problems or dialysize. The pay is better than most other places I interviewed at.

Cons

The leaders on top make a LOT of changes all the dang time. At least that’s what it seems to me. It’s obvious they are going to try to sell the company soon, and are laying off a lot of people. Really good people. They’re keeping a lot of middle or low management folks around though.
