Pros

Fast paced environment, not for underperformers. Want a challenge and the ability to grow your responsibilities and your pay, this is the place for you. The new Head of Manufacturing is a great trainer and cares for his team, the current team has never been so good. Owners very engaged in the business.

Cons

Scars from the old Production management team, they have left now. shortage of skilled operators.

Thank you for your feedback! We are so glad you feel you now have good leadership and support. We have made some great strides since appointing the current Head of Manufacturing. Our Officevibe feedback shows you and the rest of the team feel the same! We are definitely experiencing a shortage of skilled operators due to the current economic and health crisis, so if you know someone who has a great work ethic and is looking for a fast paced environment to grow and learn please refer them! Make sure to ask your supervisor or HR about our employee referral bonus as well!

Pros

Coworkers are great, very helpful. Not back breaking work.

Cons

Management doesn't listen to your recommendations whatsoever. They'll hear what you have to say, but nothing ends up changing and your ideas just get blown off. The company preaches safety constantly, but is using a lot of outdated machinery. Any other company I've worked for, the supervisors have tried to help improve the work environment of the employees. At Studco they nitpick at every little thing you do wrong until they have a "solid enough" case to get rid of you. Their turnover rate is very high due to 3 things. Their interview process isn't good enough and they end up hiring people who are unfit for the job. When they finally do get good employees, they do not feel appreciated enough and/are not compensated fairly for the work they are doing.

We appreciate your advice and want to assure you that the Management Team considers all feedback from current and former Team Members alike because our team is what makes Studco a great place to work! While we take into strong consideration all feedback from our Operations staff, we also need to enforce our Safety Policy and ensure our Team Members are working safely, both for themselves and their fellow Team Members around them. While some machinery in the shop may be older, all of it has been recently reviewed by an independent Safety Consultant and deemed safe to operate. We are investing in upgrades, nonetheless. As a small team in a growing business in a competitive industry, there is always something to do and there are many opportunities to learn and grow both personally and professionally. The Team Members that will have the greatest opportunities for growth will be those that take the initiative to learn new tasks. We wish you the best in your future endeavors and thank you for your service to our team.

Pros

Studco has a really dynamic and innovative young team. Upper Management practices an open door policy and is very accessible and personable. They recognize and reward performance and care about employee's happiness, working hard to continuously implement feedback and improve the company culture. Very team oriented environment and the work space is awesome!

Cons

Small team so everyone wears many hats and pitches in with a multitude of day to day tasks. Good for learning and cultivating a team environment, but sometimes this can take away from higher level work.
