      Pros

      It was a small office so I worked independently. The people were great to work with. I was very close to my customers also. They helped me with my education and the benefits were good. All in all it was a positive experience.

      Cons

      Learning the propane business was a bit of a challenge. Also trying to make budget each month. Our office was not very nice at all but the atmosphere made up for it.

      High pay relative to industry. Modern equipment an technology. Good benefits package

      Cons

      Ruthless industry, high pressure on management. Understaffed for peak season resulting in overwork and morale issues. Bonus only achievable if weather cooperates. No vacation time during winter season. Company frequently acquires local competitors and modifies operational footprint. Frequent layoffs of personnel, including management.

      The company really takes care of its employees, but the atmosphere at some departments is sometimes not worth it

      Pros

      The company benefits plan is amazing. They contribute to your 401K, They PAY for short term disability, and if you work at their corporate HQ, most of the people there are wonderful colleagues

      Cons

      Some departments are run poorly. There are departments with too many middle managers and not enough cohesion with other parts of the company. The IT department is very fragmented and at times, the departments seem to be intentionally warring with each other.
