The Worst Job I've Ever Had.

If you like cult mentality and homophobic and misogynistic regional managers, this MIGHT be the company for you.

Cons

Unrealistic sales goals, rude regional managers that make a reputation of harassing and antagonizing gay men and all women, unsafe working conditions in Macy's locations due to lax temperature control in winter, vermin running rampant, security concerns, etc.

Great discount, potential to make bonus weekly and paid out in next pay period. Customer service oriented.

Cons

Too much micro managing of each employee (company directed) no office/ computer. Work load for managers is over the top. Salary managers are taken advantage of. There is no extra compensation (ex: no extra hours earned for PTO) sick hr allowance is only 24hr a year. Only PTO hours are given no vacation or floating holiday. Doesn’t matter how many hours you work if you are salary you only earn 40 PTO hours a year. When hourly employees earn PTO by hours worked.
