Pros

Fun people. Good pay, great condition workers and management let's people do their job with minimal supervision in most areas, nice facilities, functional space, fun activities.

Cons

Management is busy and they don’t have a lot of “mentoring” time. It would be great to be able to learn more from their experience. Some people are not engaded and are not contributing at their potential but others are amazing. There are not clear career paths. Product development cycles are long due to small teams.

Pros

My immediate manager was very good. There were some very caring, hard-working people within the company. Worked with some really great distributors and wonderful customers. Product is a great product with a lot of potential.

Cons

First, realize that this is a private investment vehicle--not a standard public or privately held company. Upper management's decisions are made through that filter. If you are a customer-focused person, you will find this frustrating, as they do not appear to operate strategically to satisfy customers and retain their loyalty. Second, upper management is every bit of what other posters have claimed. It is also obvious that they are writing reviews, or having others write a review, to counter the negative reviews they have received and raise their rating. This is, by far, the most dysfunctional organization I have encountered, or worked for, in a lengthy career. The methodology used to "motivate" employees is worthy of a movie along the lines of "The Devil Wore Prada". The pay was well below industry standard. The benefits were average, but there were a number of policies and "nickel and diming" that were simply eye-rolling. Unfortunately, key persons within upper management treat their customers like they treat their employees, which makes it difficult for them to retain and expand their business. They tend to gain a large, important customer, only to lose them due to customer service or contract issues. It's a shame, because SupplyPro has great potential, but will never realize under the current regime.
