Pros

As someone who values communication in a work environment, I could not be more pleased with this at Supportive Care! I am in touch with colleagues and administration often and receive support whenever needed. There is always an open dialogue and I feel I am valued for my opinion and expertise.

Cons

As with many remote jobs or contract work, you need to be a self-starter who can work independently.

Pros

I’ve worked at Supportive Care as a recruiter for the past 3 years and have only wonderful things to say about the management, my colleagues, and our providers. Everyone recognizes the important work we do and brings a blend of professionalism and passion to servicing this vulnerable population. I specifically appreciate the work life balance that this position gives me- the management believes in their employees and are supportive without micromanaging. I see firsthand how Supportive Care does everything in their power to put their providers needs as top priority. The result of that is demonstrated by the level of care given to the residents.

Cons

No cons for me. Supportive Care is the right fit for me.

Pros

Changing jobs and going to Supportive Care has been one of the smartest choices I have made in my career. It's flexible, you basically make your own schedule- as long as your patients are seen, you're good! It has allowed me to be more involved as a Mom- I take my child to school every morning and I pick her up. If something comes up- I do let them know, but you don't have to worry about getting permission, canceling appointments, etc. I no longer spend 16 hours on the weekend catching up documentation. It's a very simple, straightforward system. The pay is more than I ever thought I would make in my chosen career.

Cons

You have to be self managed and organized. Although you don't "have a schedule" you have to understand that the work you do is what you get out of it- no more, and no less. Time management is a must- the faster paced you are- the better the reimbursement. Working with the geriatric population comes with its challenges- but at the end of everyday- it is also rewarding.
