Too many racist tendencies

Pros

It's a good career if you're not of color.

Cons

They let their employees practice racism freely. When a complaint is made to proper officials of the company the accuser is fired. They have very few people of color working for them and little to none working in þe higher levels.

Pros

Big company with resources to do the job and find talent. Not overly process focused. Has offices all over the country in a wide variety of markets. Seems like they have developed career paths for employees.

Cons

It's dangerous on sites due to Covid-19. The lackadaisical and renegade employees that think Covid-19 is not real are controlling the sites. There is an active culture of bulling chastising people to not talk about Covid or downplaying Covid onsite. Corporate has a detailed process to manage Covid but it feels more like corporate lip stick since its full of loopholes and not being enforced by leadership in all locations.

At Swinerton the safety of all employees in all locations has always been our number one priority. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic we further strengthened our safety efforts with specific protocols and procedures that exceed CDC recommendations in all locations. A dedicated COVID-19 task force was established with an open door policy at all times, and an anonymous hotline was established in an effort to provide employees peace of mind. While there may be individuals who do not choose to recognize the pandemic risk, Swinerton does and is prepared to act accordingly if any Swinerton employee or partner/subcontractor on a project fails to follow our protocols.
