Roles are unclear, lack of clear communication between management and staff, work politics, you need the right friends to advance and yet you still won't know where your career is going, if it's going anywhere at all anyway. You will be blamed and labeled negative if you're not a yes-man, rather than management addressing issues and finding solutions. Management is mostly new and confused about what their roles are, too, so they aren't capable of helping you. They are too busy restructuring and trying to do things completely new ways versus taking a look at what worked before and building on an already good foundation. They'd rather demolish the whole structure to avoid anything done the old way. We must be new and exciting rather than functional.

No training, no job descriptions, no career path, they don't know who they are or what they do. Leadership is all new. Management is all the same so nothing will change. Pay not comparable to market. Since the buyout in February, still no knowledge of the Synoptek side of the house. Focus is on the wrong things. Should be on the customer and it is not even though they say it is. Systems and tools not in place to produce what is needed.
