      Syscon- A great place to work!

      Pros

      I cannot understand any of the reviews that deride Syscon as an employer. I have been at a few consulting firms, and Syscon is the best by far. They are very transparent with their people and have really good leadership in place. The work is challenging, but not overly so. The people are great and the company culture is easily the most dynamic and engaging I have seen. I love working with smart people and cutting edge technologies. They provide experiences via the wide set of roles in different projects which means that work is never stale. The support from management and ability to learn are 2nd to none and there are numerous initiatives within the company to encourage boundary pushing ideas. I highly recommend working at Syscon. Keep up the good work, guys!

      Sr. Network Engineer

      Pros

      Lots of opportnity to fix mistakes. Lots of SMB exprience. Great if you like working in the western suburbs of Chicago.

      Cons

      Egos and crazy people drive all the business decisions. Sr. people here have flushed business down the toilet rather than let junior people do their jobs and grow an account.

      Very sad to see this review; the person seems to imply that they fixed everyone else's mistakes although we have an excellent technical staff; we've seen quite a bit of sustained client growth, internal and new, so the 'grow an account' comment seems odd. We use an anonymous employee feedback service and have never heard this type of comment before. We are committed to a positive and exciting work environment for all our staff.

      Stable company that rewards hard work

      Pros

      It is a dynamic work environment with clear expectations from management. There is good camaraderie among coworkers. It is a stable company that made it through the downturn in the economy and is still going strong.

      Cons

      It is a demanding work environment but hard work is rewarded.
