Pros

The trainers for the project that I was hired for ...Brittany and Tommy were great, They gave us and prepared us with great information. They were understanding and I have nothing bad to say about them, they are great people.

Cons

I would really give no start on this review, not because I am trying to be a jerk but because this really is the worst place I have ever worked at. First Hr stated that the project that I was hired for had unlimited over time since it was a 24/7 project, this turned out to be a lie and my entire training class was told this, I would have never accepted a job for 8 dollars an hour while in training and 9 after training without the option for over time. While again our trainers were great, they did not have all the tools to get us ready to take a call, such as the crm sandbox not being updated with the current call flow on how to process request, so we learned an old way that was no longer viable. We only got to listen to calls 2 times for a total of 3 hours to prepare us to take calls. We could not take notes as pens and paper are not allowed in the training room or on the floor because someone once stole some information. You are not allowed to have any drinks that have labels as someone once stole information on the back of a drink label, so you must peel all labels from your drinks and they must be in clear bottles. In order to not have to dress business casual, which you can not sustain on 8 bucks an hour, you are forced to give 5 dollars a paycheck for a total of 10 dollars a month so you can wear dress down and wear jeans... You can not have your phones with you, you cannot wear a fitbit or a smart watch, you must purchase a lock because all personal items must be locked in lockers that they do not have enough to sustain all the employees.You must use a desk and head set that someone has just used and sometimes they have distinctive wipes, the 2 desk I sat at were disgusting and when I did clean it, the wipes were all black, the keyboards, mouses and headsets are not cleaned after every use We had to take calls before all log in issues we resolved and before we had a chance to look at the systems that we are actually using. We were giving different information from the floor agents that are suppose to help us. When I brought this up I was advise this is the way it is and it will not change. you need to take the next call even if you have not finished your notes. I was told that I need to adjust to the way this project was being run. You will have people hovering over you at all times asking you what you are doing. If you are on a call, and it is your scheduled break time and you stay on the call you will get an occurrence for being late to take break. If you are on a call and you are scheduled for lunch and you take your lunch late, you will receive an occurrence. We were told to take lunch and break 5 mins early if there are no calls but you will receive an occurrence but it won't be as bad because you took your break as close to the scheduled time as possible. If you need to look for an answer and research an issue and you use more than 2 min of hold time you will fail your QA, How are you suppose to consult or ask a question in less than 2 mins when it takes longer than that to get a person if everyone is on break? The only thing that was not a con were the trainers, Brittany and Tommy who are really nice people and made training bearable. I left today not because I could not take care of the customers, I left today because there was no way I was going to succeed with the kindergarten / DOJ like rules that are in place just to take a call, and help a customer, I mean we have background checks before we can start, that should allow for employees to be treated like adults who do not steal customers information vs treating me as if I already did.

Pros

Full time, recent starting salary increase for new hires, you can advance career in as little as 3 maths, their is an employee engagement team that keeps things fun each month there’s a couple of activities. Volunteer opportunities in the community are endless.

Cons

Bonus structure sucks, too little too late on the pay raise for those who have been there for 2 yrs and yet someone who comes in under new pay rate makes in 1 yr what it took some people 4 years to attain. Also, supervisors are no help ever and can not be found on the floor 90% of the time.
