Pros

The customers love talking to them

Cons

The way that management treats their employees like criminals and also that they practice reverse discrimination as the majority are black including management. Supervisors and trainers are very snippy and we have on trainer who is very rude when dealing with agents and puts her two cents in where it not needed. Was threatening bodily harm by an individual ans was told because I was getting off he would wait for me in the parking lot and he preceded to do that but I went to management about it and had me wait off the clock for him to come back so they could talk to him. They want to brush the whole incident under the carpet have asked to talk to hr and was denied access told supervisor have to make appointment. Very hostile work environment and also even with a doctor note they are not accommodating for bathroom breaks and health issues. No paid holidays or bereavement. Insurance is very expensive.

Pros

Found some friends there. EVERYBODY can get a job there. Training is like being back to school and paid.

Cons

Pretty much everything else. The supervisors don't do their jobs, nobody is honest with you. Our so called "trainer" was more busy flirting with female coworkers (or even harassing them) than actually helping us with our problems. Personal favors are given to some people. Everybody is treated different. The building was infested with bed bugs, which was denied by HR permanently. We found bed bugs several times and were told we don't know how they look. Health insurance is pricy and the worst I've ever seen. Pay is just above minimum wage in some projects. No paid vacation, no paid holidays. You are monitored constantly and threatened to be fired. The turnover is ridiculous. They hire TONS of people before Christmas and fire them right after the holidays. My position let me manage my time quite flexible, that's the only reason I stayed for almost a year. And that just was because I got treated different from others, because I was hard to replace. A normal csr would have been fired at eight of their so called "points". A quarter point for showing up late, two for a missed shift. I had over twenty sometimes... DO NOT WORK FOR THIS COMPANY.

Pros

EXTREMELY easy going. I don't need someone on my back to do my work so this worked well for me. Very flexible schedules. Encourage going to school and hold school/college fairs quite often. My ACCM is an awesome person! If you are hard worker supervisors pretty much leave you alone. For the best money avoid clothing departments. Go for tech type positions, credit cards, or other companies. The actual HR team is awesome! (from my experience)

Cons

Pay is horrible! Nothing here pays what the job is worth. Even the upper-level jobs dont pay worth while. The company likes to be money greedy, (also the companies you will work for dont like to give out money). Also, dont bother moving up in the company, they have a bad habbit of demoting without any valid reason. Had me doing work for a specific upper-level job, only to turn around and take my pay, but not tell me till after i completed the work. I was great at what i was doing and they had no valid reason for demoting me. But this has heppened to many other people that have worked here. Even people that have worked with a promotion for years (and successfully). Extremely high turn over rate. I am the only employee still here from my training class. Also, TP goes on firing freezes so upper management can collect bonuses. Then they will turn around and go fire happy and fire people without a valid reason, or will fire for the smallest mistake. Some people are smart enough to see how crappy the company is and leaves asap. They aren't very selective on who they hire. You work with some rediculous peolple at times, especially during the hiring season of sept-january. Dont worry, they will all be fired or leave. Fist fights have broken out on the call floor mulitple times (though they are usually fired immediately for it). Many people use drugs but are fired immediately when the company finds out.
