Pros

The employees that work there are a great bunch of people and are very helpful. Benefits are ok.

Cons

Management as a whole will not stay true to any commitments that they make to you. Very quick to blame you for there mistakes. Cameras are everywhere and management is always watching individuals , even as to when they are leaving for lunch.

Pros

Many of the people are good people, in general and to work with, and there is a sense of working together to solve problems - where anyone is willing to help. The open door mentality that most of the people have, including managers, is a very nice quality. Being flexible with the time you arrive and leave, as long as you are working your hours, is also incredibly nice and something I hope does not get micromanaged or removed. Not being very micromanaged day to day is a great quality, not having someone over your shoulder I believe helps with being able to be productive. Overall from when I was hired to now I have seen improvement happening in the company and that is a great thing that I hope continues.

Cons

Upper management and marketing tend to sell things that the company does not have and this puts a lot of pressure on the developers to deliver. I understand this is one way to ensure what the company is making what is wanted by customers, but there should be more side by side involvement of marketing what the company has/can make with the lead of the development team. It also has happened multiple times that when the head of the development department takes time off upper management makes fast moves that the head of the development department would otherwise protest. Then when he returns things have been forced and it again puts a ton of pressure onto him and onto the development team. On a different note, if you want to work on a single issue or project from start to finish Tecore is not the place for you, there is nearly daily context switching from a multi-month project to a high urgency issue, and then over to researching on a new project. While this can keep things "fresh" or "interesting" it also becomes very discouraging to lose time having to relearn where you were on a project or issue. It is very discouraging to have to update managers and other departments that the previously listed time that a project would be completed has been pushed back multiple weeks, especially when it feels like it is out of your control. There is also way more work than employees, by an incredible amount, so there feels like there is a mountain of things to do all the time and each of them needed to be done 2 weeks (or months) ago.

Pros

Working at Tecore shaped me into the person I am today. I was quickly able to grow not only as an employee, but as a person. Because the company is not too large, you are able to delve into many departments. This allowed me to grow and learn at a much quicker pace than anywhere I have ever worked. The employees provide for a great work environment. Everyone is welcoming, genuine, and always looking to help one another. Management is always ready to teach whenever there was something I did not understand or needed clarification on. If there was a deadline or difficulty, the team always came together to make sure it would get done.

Cons

Because Tecore is such a close-knit team, you will be expected to do a variety of things, but this keeps work interesting.
