Pros

Hard working group of employees in the field that want to do a good job and deliver great customer service. New President and CEO are aligned to help the field deliver great customer service to our customers and get this company back on track to growing our customer counts by holding corporate departments accountable to delivering things that help the field.

Cons

The Terminix HR organization is a liability. They own nothing and take responsibility for nothing. There have been so many things that they have done and continue to do that negatively impact the performance of this company. We have had multiple pay plan changes that have had a negative impact on our company. We currently have many pay issues where are employees are not paid correctly. You cannot get a response other than we are working on it and you need to wait for a response on your ticket. If you do not get a response enter another one. You would think the HR team would have some compassion for our employees that we do not pay correctly. We are tasked with hiring new employees and are in our peak hiring period but have an HR system that will not process our new hires efficiently causing us to lose several new hires throughout the company.

Pros

Company car, gas card, good benefits, good equipment, phone, ipad provided. Sale is easy

Cons

Very low commission and take home pay. Very low. Company holds 25% tax on monthly commission regardless before fica and other taxes. Always putting downward pressure to squeeze take home pay from employees. Crawling the crawl spaces. Computers don't work. I.T. can't fix any of the technology. Still uses dos. HUGE disconnect between Corp and the branches. HR lied to me about compensation plan. It had already changed downward.

Pros

The only thing I can say is that you get to set your own schedule.

Cons

Where do I start? From the first day it was obvious that the training program was inadequate, involved technology that was no longer used and very chaotic! During the interview process I was told that leads would be provided and the need for cold calling was minimal. That was an outright lie. You are expected to cold call during your off time. Saturdays went from optional to mandatory on the first weekend. The salary is inadequate and equates to minimum wage. Management did not care to take care of customer service issues in a timely manner. Once the customer paid, management forgot about the customer and moved on to the next sale. This endeavor was a complete waste of my time and will not go on my resume.
