Pros

-good pay rate -work from anywhere

Cons

Their training process is bad, it takes time to pick up all the information due to unclear documentation, and lack of guidelines. However the management is bad they are all the time putting pressure over new hires, they don't listen to recommendations, and don't care about employees, but they pretend to. They even said to people things like, okay if you are not happy and you leave you won't be able to work here anymore not even as part time in a different project. No opportunities to grow or salary increase.

Hi, Thank you for sharing your experience at Testlio. We consider feedback to be fuel to constantly improve, so this information is very valuable for us. We recognize that the client onboarding process is critical and can sometimes feel challenging due to the complexity of certain engagements. This can understandably put pressure on new hires as they’re working to learn about their new projects. To address this, we regularly conduct check-ins and feedback sessions with our team members. In addition, we’re currently overhauling our client onboarding process for 2025, incorporating suggestions from our team to create a smoother and more supportive experience. At Testlio, we foster a culture of open communication, where raising questions, seeking help, and sharing ideas are highly encouraged. As such, implemented bi-weekly syncs with each team member, an anonymous “suggestion box” form available 24/7 and quarterly anonymous satisfaction surveys. We are also committed to recognizing and rewarding our team members, fostering growth opportunities for everyone—whether they’re freelancers, temporary contractors, or full-time employees. All team members in good standing are welcome to explore internal opportunities or join our freelance network. We deeply appreciate your insights and ideas, which help us strive to do better for all TestLions. Thank you again for taking the time to share your feedback. Kind Regards, Testlio Team

Good company and processes

Pros

- Timely pay - 95% of the TLs and TMs are polite and helpful - Good learning curve

Cons

It would be great if the pay per hour rate is revised based on the current inflation more for the Tier 4 countries like India(though not sure on the categorisation as to why India is a Tier 4 country owing to the talent being produced from here). Especially, given the platform has more Indian freelancers - it would greatly benefit and motivate all of us.

Hi, Thanks for sharing your feedback! We’re glad to hear you’re having a positive experience with the timely pay, and supportive Test Leads and Testing Managers. We absolutely understand your point about pay rates, especially with inflation. We’re actively exploring workspace-specific rates – if someone shows exceptional performance and work ethic, they could be assigned a higher rate for specific workspaces, though keep in mind that workspaces have margins. This means if a tester’s rate goes up, they may be removed from workspaces as their hourly rate is outside the budget. With that said, we're aiming towards a work opportunity hourly rate, meaning that every work opportunity has a corresponding pay rate and it's up to the tester if they are willing to test or not. Your feedback is valuable in helping us move in the right direction. Thanks again for your input, Testlio Team

Pros

- Great benefits for Full Time Employees - Lionfest is always a blast - Fully Remote, with an advanced remote culture (encouraging to not work outside or stretch often) - Supports improvements from leadership, if anyone in Testlio has a way to improve a process or feature in the product leadership encourages the team to highlight and talk about it. These tend to be actioned on within a quarter or two depending how easy it is to implement! - Testlio values actually mean something in the company, not just what they talk about

Cons

- As much as I love being able to challenge processes and move forward, that does come with constant changing environments. The team is understanding it takes time to pick up.
