Bad Management at Insgroup

Recommend

Business Outlook

Pros

Good coffee and facility environment.

Cons

Insgroup exhibits a strong political environment where the management structure appears to be unfair and exclusive. The system for advancement lacks transparency as it seems to prioritize personal favoritism over educational qualifications or expertise. Promises of career advancements by management often remain unfulfilled even when positions become available. Moreover, compensation at Insgroup is notably lower compared to industry standards, and the prospect of increased responsibilities does not correspond to an increase in pay. The training framework appears to be heavily reliant on a singular individual, Amanda, whose teaching methods may come across as opinionated and hostile. There seems to be a disproportionate leniency granted to her due to her close familial ties within the organization, which could potentially impact the overall work environment and fairness in professional development opportunities.

Pros

The types of employees are great people due to the culture and values the company advertises.

Cons

The company doesn't follow the culture and values they promote. They are simply trying to promote the illusion of growth by hiring many employees and subsequently firing many employees without notice or valid reason. Be very careful if you take a job here. The unique "perks" can hurt you in the end. And read every document they have you sign. The onboarding process is very long and tiresome, so you will be tempted to skip through most paperwork. Don't. Read every document before you sign it. There is hidden legal language for their benefit, and the employee has little or no protection.

Pros

BRP has built an incredible culture and beautiful office environment. The colleagues are all polite and a joy to work with. BRP provides excellent benefits and supports a healthy work-life balance, always going above and beyond for their employees. You feel like you're part of a family when you work for BRP. The leadership team embraces new ideas and strategies that will help make your job easier and improve the firm's performance. BRP is rapidly growing because they support innovation and prioritize the wellbeing of their employees!

Cons

In my final days at BRP when I was searching for my next employment opportunity, I found that I was paid significantly less for my role than what other employers were offering. The low compensation was my sole reason for leaving BRP. I'm sure this will change as the company grows and needs to remain competitive for top talent during the Great Resignation.
