Fun people, terrible training

Pros

- The people you work with make it bearable. - Fairly relaxed environment, no lock-down on the internet, free to put in headphones and listen to music etc.

Cons

- The pay isn't fantastic - Little to no training for new techs - Yearly raises are 1 to 2% - Understaffing leads to heavy workloads and high stress levels

We got screwed out of overtime pay, and then we got screwed out of being compensated for it

Lots of time on the road

Cons

Didn't get paid for most of the time on the road. No pay for travel time or workdays longer than 12 hours (which were the norm). The position couldn't legally be a salaried job, so the company got sued and decided to only back-pay employees for the last year- meaning those of us who got screwed prior didn't get one red cent.

Great PTO & benefits. That’s about it. Also great opportunity for work life balance.

Cons

Very shady in the way that they operate with layoffs. The pay is marginal at best. Very cultish company culture. Never given any opportunities for advancement. “Laid off” a group of us and reposted our jobs a month later, after ensuring us that we were safe.
