Pros

The average tenure at CBORD is 8 years, with many many old-timers who have spent their entire careers there. They are fiercely loyal yet friendly to newcomers.

Cons

While tenured CBORD associates are friendly, they are highly protective of the way they do business. No new concepts allowed. Newcomers must fit into the "CBORD way" or experience passive aggressiveness.

Pros

Good team that was overly willing to help the constant turnover

Cons

Almost everything. Remote is a slight bonus. Micro management to the extreme. Numbers are for the managers. You are just a pawn.

Thank you for your insight. First off we agree that we do have great teams that support each other in times of hardship. Unfortunately some roles are numbers based and if an individual is not hitting their goals it is up to a manager to reach out more than usual to help guide them towards success. Every individual is different so some may see a helping hand and others may see a micro manager. We have our bimonthly DREAMchecks set up to ensure there is an open line of discussion between employees and their managers and this would be a perfect time to tell a manager if you felt their style was not working for you. Our HR team is also always available to assist.
