      Pros

      I work with some really great people. They know their stuff and they work really hard. I love the work I do - it is always changing and always introducing me to new ways of doing things. I have had several different supervisors over the years and they have each been terrific. I hope to continue working here until I retire.

      Cons

      One thing I wish we could fix is that it always seems like we are committing to way more work than we can actually finish. I understand that we want to be first to market with some of the new things we are working on. But I worry that product quality suffers, and that the employees suffer. Many people check their email when out sick or on vacation, which is their choice, but a vacation should be a vacation.

      Pros

      The CBORD culture is focusing on the customer, working hard and having fun ... coming into the office makes for a pretty great day. The people are very smart and passionate about the products we build and the difference we make in our customers' lives. New leadership in the Engineering group has sparked some high tech innovation to replace legacy platforms and innovation is encouraged and rewarded consistently. Parent Company is Roper Technologies and there are some pretty great perk associated with that.

      Cons

      There are some legacy platforms for key products that require heavy lifting to bring up to speed technologically but some people might be very pumped about that challenge.

      Pros

      From day one, my teammate have been instrumental in getting me up to speed. Although training is hard to come by, there are many opportunities to obtain training by asking questions, access to online training is available if asked. Benefits package is pretty fair so far, there could be some additional offerings like purchasing an extra week of vacation. Overall, I enjoy the work life balance, the open door culture, the transparency of the status of the company. The on-boarding process is one of the best I have witnessed/ shared with others.

      lack of sufficient product training. need to strengthen agile scrum teams
