Pros

- Growth opportunities through the roof! If you deliver on the mission and embody the values, the sky is the limit! - Travel opportunities depending on your role. - Great ownership! They are always thinking ahead and are some of the smartest and most caring and giving people I've ever had the pleasure of working with. - Incredible culture! Everyone is selfless and genuinely wants to see you succeed! - Genuine Hospitality! At TEG, everyone cares so much about the overall Guest experience! It's very hard to find that anywhere these days. - Great Benefits! PTO for managers. 401k w/ a company match. Cigna Health Insurance. Opportunities for a raise and bonus as you grow in your career. I started as a Game Guide (entry level position) and moved up over the years to where I am now. They have an incredible leadership development program that has helped grow me as a leader and gotten me where I am today. I have seen tons of people go from a Game Guide to a manager or even leaders at HQ. It can happen for anyone! You just have to stay focused on the Mission and Values and stay positive through the ups and downs of your career. It is so worth all of the hard work!

Cons

- Long hours depending on your role. It's very worth it in the long run, but you have to be intentional with your time off and make sure you are focused on having a healthy work life balance. - No stock options at this time which I think could be an awesome benefit in the future! - Late nights and early mornings depending on your role. I love the flexibility of this and that it's not your typical 9-5 job, but some people don't like the variance in the schedule. If you are at Headquarters, you will typically have more of a 9-5 type schedule if that is what you are looking for!

Pros

Job can be fun and low pressure, good coworkers, unique experience.

Cons

- Terrible pay with the room for a pay raise being to get a different position at the company (which barely pays more). - Inconsistent hours but they at least are pretty clear about that before you get hired. Don't count on making this a full-time position. - Overbearing managers that constantly finds mundane ways to micromanage (feels so much due to low pay). - Pressure from management to make sales and get reviews with ZERO monetary return to employee. - Creepy cult-like corporate culture that is just extra insult to injury based on low pay. Feels like there are just way too many people in middle management in the company.

Pros

Great culture and genuinely cares about people who are wanting to develop their career there.

Cons

The high standards can be difficult for some who are not used to that environment. I have no complaints though!
