Pros
You don't have to take work home with you. You also get free lunches.
Cons
The company is only interested in numbers when it comes to education and substance abuse classes. They really don't care whether the inmates are learning or benefiting from the programs. This is evident in the scarcity of basic supplies such as paper and pencils. The company is very tight. The more money the save, the larger the bonuses for upper management. Also the employees are mistreated as well. Salaries are very low and the health insurance premiums are high. This is a billion dollar company that could afford to treat its employees much better but they refuse to. There is also favoritism with hiring and promotions. Finally there is a serious lack of communication between departments which causes confusion and frustration for employees.
