Pros
-Very casual environment, most people are friendly. -Always have potlucks and celebrate birthdays. -Can work overtime! -Actually value you as a person.
Cons
-When you first start, you have to be trained as an expeditor, which is the worst job at this place. Their side of the office is literally a cold call center. Depending on your education level and how well you perform your job/understand the database, you will likely move up. However, a lot of expeditors stay expeditors. For example, I came in with a bachelor's degree and only worked as an expeditor for about a week before I was moved up to a Case Investigator, while the other people around me who had been expeditors for several months and only had a HS education were not moved up (at least while I was there). However, if you can show that you know what you're doing and have a good attitude, regardless of education, you will have opportunities to move up -LOTS of layoffs (but this was 2 years ago) -Crowded/loud office environment. Everyone except managers work in close cubicles in a large open area and most positions have to talk on the phone, so it gets loud. -Not sure if this is a pro or a con, but about 95% of the employees are women.
