Pros

none. clearly the people that work here are made to post positive reviews. just a few months ago their rating was 2.2. no coincidence that the reviews are only days apart? all saying don’t believe the negative reviews....... WHERE ARE THE FILTERS

Cons

everything. from the interview onwards you will second guess yourself and your work. cattiness reigns supreme. no one doesn’t want to be promoted let’s get that clear but without opportunity what are people supposed to do. PTO is a dirty word

We have many roundtables and opinion surveys and very much welcome your comments, and want to improve. We promote very much from within, and we hope you can enjoy TRR more.

Pros

$25 food credit (used to be $50), commiserate with your colleagues about how INSANE management is, build experience and and run!

Cons

horrible upper management, micromanaging...essentially a company run by twentysomething women who believe they are at a fashion house when in reality we're selling used womenswear.

So sorry to hear about your views. What I have loved about this start up is that it is run by people who have a lot of experience. It would be great to know what your concerns were while here, so that we could learn and grow. The company certainly is not the right fit for everyone, but I feel it's important for everyone to be heard. That amazing merchandise can live again thru TRR is one of reasons I am both a customer and employee--doing good with beautiful things.

Pros

Great creative people working here as a passing by, until things get figured out. You can make great connections here as far as friendship and even future endeavors go!

Cons

The reason why TRR is growing rapidly is simultaneously working towards its demise; incredible volume. Directors, VP's, the CEO and managers are blinded by the numbers they aim to procure, yet fail to foster its growth. Watching Trr grow over the past two years is like watching someone blow air into a water balloon- it's just not meant to fill like that, and you're anticipating the pop. Everything they aim to do is to reach a top line goal of numbers, numbers, numbers. So, they push employees, they push consignors, and they push customers. The base of this company that is really producing the numbers they need get neglected and seen as replaceable. Funny thing is, higher ups think the core jobs of this company are "easy" yet never had to do them themselves. The nature of any job in operations lacks humanistic values. Because it is all about numbers, all you're expected to do is produce. Now, this is just the name of the game, and honestly a job like this works well if you're starting off, or if your personal life needs attention; its mindless. So much negative reviews and outlooks on TRR Could have been avoided if they just had better management that treated the people working there like.... People. Instead, you have managers and directors who are more concerned about filling the voids of their insecurities through power moves than actually being professional. It's a headache and a half to work here if you're a real one. Also, the physical environment here (warehouse) is a hot mess. It's dusty, mad cold or too hot, dirty and people get sick every other week. I've complained about it 1700 times and they literally don't care. Funny that they want to over-work employees in an unhealthy space, but expect them to not call in sick 🤔. It's not a horrible start off point, but the companies infrastructure and vision make no sense. They are just trying to piggy back off of anything anyone says is cool, but the entire merchandising team has zero taste. Essentially, they are working with unsustainable practices (every department here deadass) and riding a crashing wave of the trend that is consignment clothing.
