Let me first thank you for taking the time to share your experience. I know that you shared honestly in your exit interview and while I know the communication with your manager broke down, we very much appreciated your sharing your thoughts. Our goal is to be aware of our employees' experience and do all we can to improve as we grow.
I do also want to let you and others know that this is not the experience being reported by our other 700+ employees with VERTEX. Do we work hard, move with urgency for our clients, and do whatever it takes? Absolutely. Are we continually developing our manager-employee communication and connection to support our employees? Yes. We also offer many, many training, benefits, and employee work life and career focused programs to support our employees. Our Lifetime of Learning program offers a vast variety of learning options, and we are continually improving our new hire, employee, and people manager training. We also offer a hybrid work environment to allow some flexibility for our employees and their non-work life; schedules and work-locations are based on the needs of the client, employee, team, and management. All of our efforts are focused on creating a workplace that supports our employees and clients. We do grow through acquisition as well as organically and that growth offers greater opportunity and cross-over career options for our existing and new team members.
Again, while I'm very sorry that your experience was not what we would have wanted for you, your manager, or team we will continue to do all we can to improve. I encourage you to reach out to me directly if you have other thoughts on how we can improve. You can reach me directly at edavies@vertexeng.com. Thank you again. Erin Davies, Chief People Officer
