Pros

Accepts all work backgrounds and experience

Cons

I received very little training before being thrown at guest services to deal with the bloodthirsty sharks, I mean guests. The pay was very poor and so was the condition of the store. Everyone was unprofessional and not helpful.

Pros

uniform is not very strict, good job if you like to be on your feet.

Cons

management they have no idea whats going on. They are very rude and picked on me an awful lot. I was a temp and i was thrown into the deep end at 16y/o and put onto customer services with little training beforehand. I was left on my own to deal with customers not knowing what to do but using my initiative. i was contracted certain hours and the assistant manager try to tell me i was working on other days but my contract says i can only work them certain days so they were messing me about.

No fun being Geoffrey's little helper

Pros

Retail & customer service training

Cons

No staff discounts, working over contract hours to tidy sections without being asked to do so. Difficult to get promoted, instead they often bring in new management staff which need to be trained by the junior staff. So you train them to do your job then they boss you around. Dealing with grumpy customers sucks.

Pros

I work with a very experienced team.

Cons

Teams at Toys work in silo and there is not much communications across different disciplines. Very few opportunities for career advancement and training.
