Pros

Work/life balance Occasional work freedom (remote)

Cons

Frequent hiring ramp-ups (poor hiring process) Not enough incentive to keep tenured (good/lasting) employees Company wastes too much money training 40+ people while only a small group makes it out to the floor Poor training translates into poor production floor behaviors/habits Work-load demand from upper management increases while pay does not Terrible job environment due to inconsistent hiring/screening

Pros

-15 minute breaks as apposed to 10 min like their competitors -I had a great Trainer and awesome coworkers -Plenty of resources to help you learn along the way -Okay pay if you've been use to the $9 rate of other work at home comapnies

Cons

-Team lead cared way too much about Stats and perfection even though she has only been a TL for 6 months. TL also expects new employees to perform at the level of tenured advisors. Team lead was nice but seemed pressured from upper management. -Low pay compared to what Apple actually pays their work at home advisors -A difficult job that requires more than three weeks of training -Training was primarily focused more on customer types than actual knowledge -Some Tier 2 agents were extremely rude and lazy... -Extreme monitoring and micro managing that would drive anyone crazy -Metrics very difficult to meet even if you have an 100% CSAT score -You must work on holidays if not you get double attendance points for taking the day off. -Shift bids

Pros

Some higher ups know how to sweet talk employees into feeling secure. Employees with perfect attendance for a month earn daily free lunch for a month from the food trucks that are on site.

Cons

Job advertisements are deceptive, they will have you to believe that a customer service position will pay you $12/hr which is average. Customer Service Reps really only make $10.75! A recruiter intentionally lied about training classes, shift availability, pay increases l and the hiring process. You write in your availability on the application but it's never taken into account. You will work when they want you to and your permanent shift will not be based on your availability. Everyone makes a big deal about bonuses but seasoned employees admit that they are almost impossible to get and the rules are changing to make it even harder. The company has a lot of money but instead of raising salaries, they spend it on expensive prizes that one person out of hundreds will win. Employees, despite earning low pay, are encouraged to donate money to a fund for employee "perks" like hot dogs and popcorn. HR will withold pay and charge employees for "retention bonuses". There is mandatory overtime based on the client's demands and you must work it despite your availability. Some team leaders are a joke and no two people in the entire company seem to be on the same page. Employees reeked of marijuana and were allowed to work. Employees stole customer's credit card information and it was frequently joked about. There are a lot of inconsistencies.
