Pros

Good benefits to take care of you and your family. Decent amount of PTO, however behind many other industry peers of equal size and impact.

Cons

All appearances the C Suite grows, likely getting large bonuses for the few while the work is done on the backs of the many. CEO sends an email early 2024, banner year, but didn't hit some metrics so bonuses stagnant, shrinking as more are eligible. Merit increases also down, not keeping up with inflation or even the rate increases on Travelers issued policies. Transparency would be showing the C Suite's bonus are down or sacrificed for the working class.

Pros

Travelers has great benefits-- 401k, pension, health care options, and plenty of PTO days.

Cons

Travelers preaches flexibility, however, this is not the case. They allow flexibility for certain individuals and fail to do so for others. There is a lack of consistency on multiple levels. Employees are unappreciated. They do not give bonuses and give TINY raises for the work that is performed. If you do well, expect to be given extra work, so you are basically set up to fail. They micromanage most aspects of your job from the phones to adding a participant in the participant screen (which is technically not your responsibility). If you have children or are considering having children--look at another company. They will not work with you to adjust your schedule when it comes to picking up/dropping off or events for your children.
